If you are interested in getting a signature for the Military/Veterans Registration Plate Application (MVR-33A) or the Lifetime Hunting & Fishing License for Resident Disabled Veterans (NCDVA-50), please follow the mailing instructions below: 

MVR-33A: Attach copy of your DD-214, VA rating/summary letter and current vehicle registration (All registrations if doing multiple vehicles) 

NCDVA-50: Attach copy of VA rating/summary letter 

Please mail documents to our office for signature, do not mail originals of any documents other than the applications, as they may not be returned to you. Once signed, your applications will be mailed directly back to the veteran to submit to the administrating agency.

The State of NC Certification for Disabled Veteran's Property Tax Exclusion (NCDVA-9) form can ONLY be signed by a certified VA official, as we are a County Office not VA employees, we have no authorization to sign this form. These are still being processed by the Fort Bragg Dept. of Veterans Affairs Office. To obtain a signature for this form please follow the instructions below:

Social Distancing
Upon Veterans Services Reopening to the public, the wearing of facial coverings and social distancing protocol will be enforced while visiting our facility.

The Cumberland County Veterans Services Office assists veterans and their dependents obtain benefits to which they are entitled by submitting claims for benefits to the Department of Veterans Affairs; reviewing and following up on decisions of the Department of Veterans Affairs for fairness and accuracy; and writing and submitting appeals to the Board of Veterans Appeals for disputed decisions.

These services are always "Free" to the veterans and their dependents.
