One-Stop early voting for the 9th Congressional District election ends Sept. 6. The election is Tuesday, Sept. 10. Early voting will be held at the Cumberland County Board of Elections and East Regional Branch Library. The Board of Elections reminds voters of the option to vote early, considering possible adverse weather associated with Hurricane Dorian.
Voting at the Board of Elections is Sept. 3 – 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Board of Elections is in the E. Newton Smith Center at 227 Fountainhead Lane.
Voting at East Regional Library, 4809 Clinton Rd., is Sept. 3 – 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Earlier this year, the State Board of Elections voted unanimously to order a new election in the 9th Congressional District after determining that irregularities occurred to such an extent that they tainted the results of the election and cast doubt on its fairness.
