P18-02. REZONING OF 1.65+/-ACRES FROM R6 RESIDENTIAL TO C2(P) PLANNED SERVICE & RETAIL OR TO A MORE RESTRICTIVE ZONING DISTRICT, LOCATED AT 1709 MCARTHUR ROAD, SUBMITTED BY MEL VIN & MARGARET MOORE (OWNERS). 

The R6 Residential District is a district designed for a mix of single-and multi-family dwellings. 

The C2(P) Planned Service and· Retail District is a district designed to allow for the non-residential development of land with service and retail uses not typically considered intrusive to neighboring residential properties or in areas generally requiring a greater degree of restrictions regarding the commercial use of properties. 

The Joint Planning Board will consider Case No. P18-02 at its meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the second floor hearing room of the Historic Courthouse at 130 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville. Anyone desiring to speak concerning this matter is requested to sign up before 6:55 p.m. on the night of the meeting. Please note that any documentation to be presented to the Joint Planning Board will be made part of the record and given weight based upon the source of the material.

A map of the area, with the specific tract under consideration appearing cross-hatched, is shown on the reverse side of this letter.
