Ad Valorem Tax Rates Per $100 Valuation
2017 Tax Bills (FY 2018)

Property taxes become due each year on September 1 and must be paid by January 5 to avoid interest, penalties, and/or collection proceedings.

Go to our Pay Taxes Online website to pay your taxes using your credit / debit card or electronic draft, or call (910) 678-7507 to set up payment arrangements.

Tax rates and fees also apply to all newly registered and annually renewed motor vehicles on the NC combined vehicle registration renewal and property tax notice received from the NC Department of Motor Vehicles. Please pay the combined registration and tax notice to DMV at any DMV license plate agency, by mail, or online at www.ncdot.gov/dmv.
