County Has 356 Positive Cases

The Department of Public Health reports there are 356 total positive COVID-19 cases involving Cumberland County residents, an increase of 14 since Wednesday. Nine residents have died from complications associated with the coronavirus.  

County Operational Changes
Under operational reductions implemented April 17, most County offices will be closed Friday, May 8, and unable to answer telephone calls and emails. Friday hours will resume on May 15.

County departments are available to the public by telephone and email. A list of operational changes due to COVID-19 is available at co.cumberland.nc.us/COVID19closures.

The County has not set a date for re-opening County buildings to the public.
