Cumberland County invites local businesses to attend the Building Business Rally May 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Horace Sisk Gym at Fayetteville Technical Community College, 2201 Hull Rd. The event is free and open to suppliers, professional service providers and prime and sub-contractors.

A planning room will be available for any entity to show plans for review and to list upcoming projects.

Cumberland County purchasing and procurement representatives will provide bid opportunities, budgets, vendor information and will available future plans for local businesses to view.

“We encourage vendors to come out and network, learn about projects coming up and current projects as well as purchasing procedures.  This will be a great opportunity to make connections,” said Amanda Bullard, Cumberland County Purchasing Manager. “We look forward to a successful event that will allow Cumberland County to utilize local resources in serving our citizens.”

Organizations that support businesses through financial and qualification assistance will also be on hand.
