ReBuild NC Housing Recovery Program

Mar 23, 2018

The ReBuild NC Recovery Center in Cumberland County will move on March 26 to the Cumberland County Community Development office at 707 Executive Place in Fayetteville.

Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 211. Out-of-state callers may dial 1-888-892-1162.

Cumberland County and City of Fayetteville residents who sustained damage to their homes during Hurricane Matthew may be eligible for additional financial help through Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds if they qualify under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s low-to-moderate income requirements.

Funds will assist residents with housing repairs, homeowner reimbursement and other housing-related needs. For more information, visit

The application process is the first step in applying for housing-recovery assistance. Once all the required information and documents are provided, each person’s file will be reviewed for eligibility.

  • Proof of residency and proof of residency during Hurricane Matthew
  • Photos of damage
  • Tax return or last three pay stubs
  • Proof of ownership
  • Insurance payments
