Cooperative Extension Announces February Better Living Workshops

Cumberland County Cooperative Extension will offer two Better Living Series workshops in February. Both events require preregistration and fee payment at least three days before the workshop. The workshops will be held in the Cumberland County Agriculture Center, 301 E. Mountain Dr., Fayetteville.

 

Inviting Birds to Your Backyard will be held Feb. 5 from 12 to 2 p.m. Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks & Recreation staff members will present a program on attracting birds to your backyard. Attendees will construct a simple birdhouse at the end of the workshop. The $15 registration fee is due by Jan. 31. Class size is limited so early registration is encouraged.

 

Baking Quick Breads will be held Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Attendees will taste delicious loaves of quick breads and make one to carry home. The $10 registration fee is due by Feb. 1. Class size is limited so early registration is encouraged.
