Hope Mills One-Stop Voting Site Moved to Gray’s Creek

FAYETTEVILLE The Cumberland County Board of Elections has moved the One-Stop early voting site at the Hope Mills Recreation Center to the Grays Creek Recreation Center, due to Hurricane Florence damage at the Hope Mills site. One-Stop early voting for the general election begins Oct. 17 and runs through Nov. 3

 

The Gray’s Creek Recreation Center is located at 2964 School Rd., Hope Mills. One-Stop early voting locations and times are as follows:

 

Cumberland County Board of Elections, 227 Fountainhead Lane, Suite 101, Fayetteville

Monday – Friday                    8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 3                     8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

 

Cliffdale Recreation Center, 6404 Cliffdale Rd., Fayetteville

North Regional Library, 855 McArthur Rd., Fayetteville

Gray’s Creek Recreation Center, 2964 School Rd., Hope Mills

Monday – Friday                    7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 27                    9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 3                     8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

 

Citizens who want to take advantage of early voting, but are not registered to vote, may do same-day registration during One-Stop early voting if they provide acceptable documentation. The registrant needs to present or show a document that lists current name and address in Cumberland County. A complete list of acceptable documentation can be viewed at co.cumberland.nc.us/elections.

 

You may also apply at the Board of Elections office, located in the E. Newton Smith Center, located at 227 Fountainhead Lane, Fayetteville. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 910-678-7733.
