Gathering for Primary Election Results in Crown Ballroom May 8

Once the polls close at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, the public is invited to view the Cumberland County primary election results in the Crown Complex Ballroom.

 

The unofficial results from the State Board of Elections website will be projected on the large screens in the room. Candidates, supporters, media outlets and residents are welcome to gather together to await the numbers.

 

The ballroom will open at 7 p.m. and will close promptly once the results from the last precincts have been reported.

 

The Upper Deck restaurant located just outside the ballroom will be open during event from 7 – 9 p.m. Food and beverage options will be available for purchase.

 

Voters can also track election results by visiting co.cumberland.nc.us/elections.

 

One-stop voting ends on Saturday, May 5, at 1 p.m. The polls will open Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.

 

To find information about your precinct, use the County’s Polling Place Finder  on the County’s website at co.cumberland.nc.us.

 

The Board of Election is located at 227 Fountainhead Lane and regular hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
