First Eastover Land Use Committee Meeting Dec. 14 at 7 p.m.

FAYETTEVILLE – The first meeting of the Eastover Area Land Use Plan Committee will be held Thursday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Eastover Community Center, 4008 School St., Eastover. Anyone who lives or owns property within the plan area and is interested in serving on the committee should make plans to attend.

 

The Cumberland County Planning and Inspections Department will conduct a Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) analysis and review the survey results from the initial public meeting held Nov. 16. The current land use plan was completed in 2000.

 

In general terms, the Eastover area is defined as the area east of the Fayetteville city limits and Cape Fear River, west of Big Creek and the Eastover Fire District boundary and north to south from the Eastover Fire District line to N.C. Highway 24 and Maxwell Road.
