Noncustodial parents who do not have child support withheld from their wages have a few options available to make their payments. If the noncustodial parent chooses to mail their payment; they should do so by check or money order payable to North Carolina Child Support. The check or money order should contain the payor’s MPI # (Master Participant Index Number). This will ensure the payment is properly applied to the noncustodial parent’s case(s). The MPI # can be provided by the local child support agency.
Mail the check or money order to:
NC Child Support
PO Box 900006
