functions under a Board of Commissioners - County Manager form of government. James E. Martin is the County Manager. Juanita
Pilgrim is the Deputy County Manager and oversees the Human Services agencies.
Amy H. Cannon is the Assistant County Manager for Financial and Administrative Services.

The County Manager's Office oversees all County departments, programs and operations pursuant to the policies, ordinances and directives adopted by the Board of County Commissioners. Other responsibilities include preparing the recommended
annual County budget, preparing and publishing the agenda for board meetings, and providing all other management services necessary
to assure the efficient and effective operation of County government. Other divisions of the County Manager's Office include Internal Audit,
Safety and Risk Management, Human Resources and Public Information.
