About the Volunteer Program
The Animal Control Department started a volunteer program and encourages anyone
interested in caring for abandoned and stray animals to apply. Volunteers will work in
the adoption area and assist with placing animals with local families.
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old and sign a liability waiver. Orientation
sessions for new volunteers will be held at 10 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month
at the Animal Control facility at 4704 Corporation Dr. in Fayetteville. Minors are
required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the training session.
